Kellan's 2nd Birthday Party (December 2012)

When we got home we celebrated Kellan's 2nd birthday party.  He is my good friend Tiffany's son and is the cutest thing ever.  After pizza, Kellan dug right into his cupcake...

Olivia followed behind, but since it was only her third time ever having sugar she was a little slower and hesitant.  She wasn't really sure of it at first.  I have to say I wasn't sad that she didn't finish her cupcake...

Visit to MV (November/December 2012)

Once my sister's kids were feeling better, Olivia and I raced up to Mount Vernon to get in some much needed cousin time.  I think it's the longest I've ever gone without seeing my sister and the kids (almost 5 weeks)!

When we got there Olivia quickly discovered the tee pee my sister sewed for her for Christmas.  She immediately tried it out...

Then the "littles" decided to play blocks together...

She really is just trying to give Charlie a hug, but I know what you're thinking...

These two would live their entire lives naked if we let them...

Trouble...

And before we left we attempted our annual candy cane pajama pictures...

After pictures Charlie tried pushing Olivia in the baby stroller...

Santa Clause (November 2012)

The last weekend in November Zach and I took Olivia to get her picture taken with Santa again this year.  We went to the same place we went last year since it was such a great experience last year.  She freaked out, so it took some tricky maneuvering, but we got a decent shot...

November 2012

We don't have a ton of pictures from November or the beginning of December.  They were both crazy months as usual.  We were supposed to go camping with my sister's family for Thanksgiving down the Oregon Coast.  We had to cancel because her kids got really sick and there ended up being a wind storm that knocked out power to the entire area.

I did manage to get a few pictures of a few fun things we did.  I bought Olivia her first set of crayons and we tried coloring for the first time...

She spent a lot of time running around naked or half clothed...

Olivia loves cleaning and did some sweeping...

I bought a plaster hand print ornament kit last year, but Olivia was too young to do it, so we gave it a try this year and it turned out great!  We had to try it a couple of times, but she loved putting her hand in the plaster...

Sadly we don't have any pictures from Thanksgiving since we weren't able to spend it with family.  We went out to dinner at the Woodman Lodge in Snoqualmie.  It ended up being a bust.  Olivia hadn't napped and we took shifts madly scarfing down our dinner and walking around outside with her.  Hopefully next year will be back to the normal traditions.

Gordon's Pumpkin Patch in Mount Vernon (October 2012)

The last weekend in October Olivia and I headed back up to Mount Vernon to make our annual trip with the Joneses to Gordon's Pumpkin Patch.  Friday night we visited Grandma Emily...

Saturday we headed over to the Joneses to play for awhile before going to the little pumpkin patch to get pumpkins.  (They're way cheaper at the little pumpkin patch.)

When we got home we spent Saturday evening digging out all of the pumpkins and roasting the seeds.  Charlie was very excited to start eating them...

My sister always does an exceptional job carving out the kids pumpkins since they're still too little to do it themselves.  Jack requested a choo-choo train...

Emily requested an owl...

Charlie wanted the monster pumpkin eating a little pumpkin...

And the traditional Jones family pumpkin...

Uncle Bryan with his girls...

I got this pumpkin for my brother because it looked like the perfect "crack".  My sister attached suspenders to it with a pair of Jack's jeans.  It was perfect!!

Sunday we headed out to Gordan's Pumpkin Patch with the Joneses and Uncle Mike.  I love that this is a family tradition, and it's been so nice having my brother back in Washington.  Olivia was such a little baby when we went last year.  It's absolutely amazing how much she has grown in just a year.  We had a great time taking pictures and looking at all of the festivities...

As you can tell I've been madly working to get caught up over break.  I already posted our Halloween pictures from 2012 on the blog.
