Baby Furniture

We began looking at cribs and baby furniture almost immediately after finding out we were pregnant.  I have to say, I began the looking, but Zach was the one that spent an entire day researching and researching different cribs and reading reviews on them.  We were both astonished at the price of cribs.  Who knew they were so expensive?  At first he had his heart set on a cherry colored set he found at JC Penny.  When we went to order it, we found out that it was all sold out.  After some deliberation we decided on the same set, but in white.  However, when we went to order that set, it was back ordered until March.
Wednesday, March 9 was Zach's grandma Doris' 93rd birthday.  We went to her apartment to celebrate with her and Zach's family.

When we got home, there was a message on our phone saying that our crib was in!  Zach must have seen the excitement in my eyes.  I believe he said, "What are we waiting for?  Let's go!"  We jumped in the car and headed into Bellevue to pick up the furniture at 8:30 in the evening.

The next day Zach began early in the morning and finished just before I got home from work.  It took him an entire day (8 hours) to put together.  He did an awesome job.  It was the BEST surprise in the world!
